The Pan-American Conservation Association (APPC), in partnership with the City of Knowledge Foundation , is launching an exciting new initiative: the development of the first Learning and Conservation Center for Sloths and Other Wildlife at the City of Knowledge in Clayton, Panama City, a vibrant international hub for education, science, and sustainable innovation located right across from the Panama Canal.

Founded in 2005, the Pan-American Conservation Association (APPC) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation. For more than 21 years, APPC has successfully rehabilitated and released over 8,000 wild animals back into their natural habitats.
As human beings, our connection to nature is as fundamental as gravity. Healthy forests and conservation centers help preserve and strengthen this essential bond, inspiring people to appreciate, understand, and protect the rich diversity of wildlife and ecosystems upon which we all depend.
